One of the largest roofs in the Anchorage School District, West High required careful investigation and phased construction. The new roof system has improved thermal performance, improved roof drainage, will be easier to maintain and have a longer service life. The roof investigation included roof cuts in key areas to determine existing components and conditions, which were then patched professionally. Documentation of roof slope and drainage, measurements to verify the original drawings and establish quantities for cost, as well as photographs inside and out were all part of the as built verification.
