Veterans Affairs Hospital Dining Area Renovation

JBER, Alaska

follow site The goal of this 5 500 SF renovation project was to relieve the severe overcrowding at the serving and dining areas of the JBER Veterans Affairs Hospital dining area as well as give the space a much needed facelift. Food service consulting helped to reorganize and expand the scramble-style serving and point-of-sale stations, while traffic flow in and around the dining area was consolidated and made more efficient. Fixed seating booths were replaced with new tables and chairs to allow flexibility within the space, while new floors, finishes, and ceilings give the lower level dining area a bright, cheerful, and modern aesthetic.
