Bethel Regional High School Multipurpose Addition

Bethel, Alaska

interactive option com Throughout rural Alaska, assembly space in schools is greatly needed and valued and the Bethel Regional High School in Bethel, Alaska is no exception. The school has functioned without a kitchen or cafeteria for over 40 years and the Lower Kuskokwim School District (LKSD) recognizes maximizing the new addition to serve not just as a cafeteria, but a multipurpose assembly space for the community. The multipurpose room can quickly transform from a cafeteria to an auditorium, performance venue, group study space, lecture hall, or community gathering space. The new kitchen will deliver a much needed healthy nutrition food service to the district.
